Some days, I wonder why I keep playing this. You click, you shoot, things break. It’s simple but frustrating. Total chaos. The game isn’t exactly fair. Still, it’s addictive in a weird way that keeps pulling me back in.
Defend the Planet has some neat ideas. The mechanics are tricky at first. The physics can be wonky, making aiming a pain. It’s not complicated but requires patience. Figuring out when to move or stay still is key. Expect some annoying bugs but overall, not bad for a quick play.
Builds matter, but don’t overthink it. Stick with simple loadouts to avoid confusing yourself. Some weapons feel overpowered, others forgettable. Play around with what works, but don’t get too fancy. Keep your gear balanced and adapt as you go. It’s not about perfection, just survival.
I found that sticking close to your base helps a lot. Spreading out makes you vulnerable to unlucky attacks. Save your resources for big fights. And maybe the most annoying thing, ignore some side quests. They’re a waste of time. Focus on the main threats to level quicker.
The story is straightforward but feels a bit predictable. You defend, upgrade, then face a big boss. It’s not the kind of ending that surprises you. Completing the game takes patience. Some parts drag, but overall, it's okay. Finish it, if only to say you did.
